Pixie's snippets playground - week 222

Yep it is week 222 at the Playground this week and this is the card that I have made for the challenge.

The snippets used are bits from the green gingham paper and I am not sure where from.
The papers used on the flower and background are from some very old papers from Craftwork Cards, I loved these papers, very little left now
The sentiment is half of a CC's  sentiment, I have used the other half before.
Image is Woodware - Marguerite Patch,
I have used glossy accents on the image.

Allsorts challenge - 356 - Wings

The sponsor for our challenge this week is none other than...

Now I actually have this stamp and this is a card I made with it last Christmas.

We also have as a second prize some Penny Black Stickeroo's.

Some fabulous images and so great for a quick and easy card.

I have used a Penny Black Stickeroo for the main image and the Butterflies were also on the same sheet which is called Timeless.

I think the card stock maybe SU as well as it seem to match the ribbon very well.

I had a real mad panic last night, I was getting no photo's at all, on here, on the DT winners post and on all my followers blogs, did anyone else have this, I eventually switched off my computer and left it a while then everything was back to normal, phew.

Rudolph Day - March 2016

Hi Everyone and welcome to Rudolph Day, for this month's challenge I have reverted back to 

Snowmen.

I just love snowmen and these are from Woodware the stamp is Snow Buddies.

My idea for this years Christmas cards was to stick to red and green but as you can see I did vary them slightly. There are 8 cards here, a couple you can not see.

Now this is a very tall stamp and originally I did not have a stamp block big enough to use, so as it happens I have a glass cutting mat so I put the stamp on there and placed the card on top and pressed the card down to create the image, now this was a tad hit and miss as to how the the image turned out, but as I lack a great deal of patience I put the Woodware stamping block to fit, on my Christmas list and I got it, yea.

All coloured with Promarkers and the sentiments are cut down Craftwork cards circle sentiments.

Happy Rudolph Day or Rudolph Week, as it is a long one this month, so hope you can find the time to support Mo and her team.

 It seems strange having Rudolph Day on Good Friday.

Allsorts - week 355 - Easter

Yes another week has flown by and we are now heading for Easter which is our challenge this week at Allsorts and it has been chosen by Susan.

I have gone for a quirky image and I just love this one from Bugaboo.

Coloured with Promarker but I have paper pieced the hat and used the Corner Bow die from
Memory Box in the same papers and for once I left the paper in the bow, so it would stand out more.

Computer generated sentiment cut with a ZigZag stitched square as is the main image.

Snippets Playground

It is week 220 over at the Playground and I have finally made a card that I can enter after a couple of weeks absence, sorry Miss

The stamp is Woodware - Fab Flowers.

Paper pieced the flowers using bits and bats of left over paper from LOTV

The pink dotty paper is also a snippet.

Brenda has chosen the theme this week of Spring Colours, she would like to see either greens, yellows, pinks and purple on your cards. So a wide range there for you.

Darnels NUBUS challenge

I have made this card for Darnel's NBUS challenge.
This shape of the card I have had for quite some time and this is the first time I have used it.
The Woodware cake stamp I have also had for months and this is the first time I have made a card with it, tried it out but never got anywhere with it.
Papers are LOTV/Nitwits.
Letters and number dies are Memory Box- Parker range

Allsorts challenge week 353 - International Woman's Day

As it is International Woman's day Mervi has chosen the challenge of a card for a Woman.

Now I think that at 21 you become a Woman so here is my card.

I have to admit I struggled with this challenge.

The image is a digi image that is quite a few years old and the place I bought it from has now closed and actually only ever did one image.
